Are Friends Electric ...
OMS driver Neville Rollason made history at the Shelsley Walsh Midland Hill Climb Championship meeting this weekend, competing in an electric powered car, following the gearbox breakage in his OMS 25 at Loton Park recently.
Driving a Tesla sports car in a specially created electric car class, he suprised doubters who thought it would be slow on the hill with a best time of 37.30 seconds which now stands as a class record for electric cars. The car made its way quickly and silently up the historic hill, in the spirit of unique and innovative cars that Shelsley epitomises.
