Winter Developments

Following a successful 2012 hillclimb season that culminated in OMS Racing securing the manufacturer title in the Avon Tyres MSA British Hillclimb Championship, work continues on the development of the successful OMS 25 model.

Analysis of aerodynamic performance during 2011 resulted in the development of a new carbon front wing for 2012. A number of OMS drivers ran the wing this season including Trevor Willis and Steve Owen, who saw their times improve significantly. Manufactured in house using an autoclave, the wings are ultra light weight with increased rigidity and are now available to our customers. We are also manufacturing other autoclaved carbon fibre parts including steering wheels, a new design front wing end plate, flat carbon sheet and carbon timing struts. We are nearing completion of a batch of sports cars that will soon be exported to Singapore. They have been built to a new design specifically for the customer in Singapore. Another of these cars has already been supplied to an EU customer who took delivery in early September.

Orders have been received for 3 cars this winter along with a range of other development work and new components for existing OMS owners.
