Cross Border Speed Championship
After the first two rounds of this year’s Cross Border Speed Championship organised by Wigton Motor Club, Kirby Lonsdale Motor Club member Jim MacDiarmid currently leads the overall point’s standings.
Driving his Suzuki Hayabusa powered OMS CF04 single seater, Jim picked up maximum points at the opening round of the championship at Kames motorsport complex in Scotland. Round two took place at Teesside Autodrome in the North East of England where Jim set a new course record and took Fastest Time of Day, following a long battle throughout the meeting with local course expert Jim Belt driving his Juno race car.
The next round of the championship will be held this weekend and it is a local venue for Jim, Barbon Manor near Kirkby Lonsdale, the meeting is on Saturday 15th June 2013.
