TSA-SRA AUTOMOTIVE HILLCLIMB SERIES - Round 2, 22/23 March, 2014

Mount Cotton Hill Climb, Queensland, Australia.
The entry numbers may have been down a little but the quality of the entries was certainly up for the second round of the TSA-SR Automotive series held on 22/23 March. The highlight was a great battle between Bill Norman in his Gekko and Warwick Hutchinson in his Van Diemen RPV02 which resulted in Bill being the victor with a class record breaking run of 38.56 from Warwick's 39.25. However Warwick turned the tables in the Top Six taking the win from Bill with a 39.10, 0.31 faster than Bill's 39.41.

Meanwhile a couple of other drivers are coming close to breaking into the exclusive Under 40s Club with Jim Milliner being closest with his scintillating and personal best time of 40.l5.Jim finished the event with a second in class and third fastest time of the meeting.  (Report courtesy of MGCC Queensland, Australia www.mgccq.org.au)

Jim drives the ex- Jan Kosuta OMS 2000M fitted with a 1000cc Suzuki engine. He is planning on fitting a new engine this season to give the car a bit more power, which he hopes will secure him a sub 40 second run.
