FIA Hillclimb Masters

Eschdorf in Luxembourg is the venue for the first FIA Hill Climb Masters event that is being this weekend 11th and 12th October 2014.

A single end of season event, the competition will showcase the sport of hill climbing and celebrate the champions of the 2014 season from many European National Championships as well as the winners of the FIA Championship, Challenge and Cup. 

In total 22 nations will be represented. The British team consists of nine drivers who will be competing for individual honours in their categories as well as the prestigious Nations Cup. These drivers are David Warburton in the under 25's category, Tom New, Paul Buckingham, Will Hall, Keith Edwards, Darren Warwick, Keith Murray, Trevor Willis and Scott Moran.

Trevor Willis will be representing Britain in category 3 with his OMS 28 RPE-V8. A former British Hillclimb Champion in 2012 and runner up in 2013 and 2014 season, he has also been selected by team captain Tim Wilson as one of four National Team drivers competing for the Nations Cup; where consistency counts more than outright speed. The National Team drivers are 2014 British Hillclimb Champion Scott Moran, Darren Warwick, Keith Edwards and Trevor Willis.

Many of the British hillclimb community are travelling to Eschdorf to support the drivers and watch the spectacle. For those who are not able to be there, the Luxembourg national television station RTL will broadcast the Hill Climb Masters via live streaming on its website, click here to access.
