Racing at the Palace

The sixth annual Motorsport at the Palace sprint meeting, a two-day motorsport festival held at the famous South London venue took place over the Bank Holiday weekend of Sunday and Monday 24th and 25th May 2015. Held in association with event sponsors the Ancaster Group, Sevenoaks and District Motor Club ran the sprint meeting amid the delightful environs of Crystal Palace Park.

On track, competition was fast and furious among the 200 competitors. Sevenoaks club member Kevin Creaven took Fastest Time of the Day (FTD) on Sunday in his OMS PR (34.92 seconds), while Monday’s honours went to David Seaton, driving a Pilbeam MP43/BMW (33.95 seconds) with Kevin in second place overall.
