Le Val des Terres Hillclimb

Sarah Gaudion finished 5th in class 6 with her best time 29.95s This was a new outright ladies hill record for the organising club Guernsey Motor Cycle and Car Club. It also qualified Sarah for the first British Hillclimb top twelve run off.

Justin Smith qualified the OMS 25 for both British Hillclimb Championship run offs. In round 21 he snatched the final scoring place and one British Championship point. Then in round 22 Justin finished in ninth place to score two more points.

Chris Guille shared the OMS CF04 with his father Geoff Guille in class 7. Chris took third in class with his best run time 29.49s whilst Geoff finished in fifth place. Like Justin, Chris qualified for both of the run offs finishing just outside of the points in round 21 and finishing eighth in round 22 one position ahead of Justin.

Charlie Smith was pleased to be running in the 30's with the 1600cc OMS 25 he shares with his son Justin. His best time 30.85s placed him sixth in class 6.

Jackie Le Cheminant took second in class 5 in the La Villette Garage OMS PR she shares with her husband Ricky who was not driving today. Whilst fellow class 5 runner Alan Prevel in his Auto Repair Centre OMS finished fourth with a best time of 33.65 seconds.

Class 13 sports libre cars included Mark Le Cras in The Wheel Doctor OMS SC1 who finished fourth on 32.27s.

Trevor Willis crashed out in the OMS 28 V8 on first timed runs. He hit the banking heavily just before the finishing line, demolishing the front aerofoil along with the front suspension.
